Careful analysis of existing rackmount technology has led SKB engineers to re-examine every detail and make significant design upgrades to shockrack systems, resulting in a product that now sets the standard in shock-resistant transport. Our cases meet nearly every ATA Spec and Military Standard.

Features include a redesigned frame with threaded steel rails and aluminum cross components forming an “H” shaped rigid configuration, unique “plug” style lid sealing system, lids that penetrate the body with an approximate 1” molded-in protrusion that provides both outstanding sealing and anti-shear properties, patent pending compound hinge system allows the lids to swing out 270 degrees and rest along the sides of the case or, they can be easily removed and reinstalled in seconds.

Standard rack depth front to rear rail is 24 inches and each lid is 4 inches deep. Stacks securely with wheels on or off and this revolutionary design also allows for front and rear lid opening while stacked. Comes standard with 8 each HM-245 elastomeric, high-damping, wide temp. range shock mounts, with a shear spring rate of 50 pounds per inch. Additional or stiffer shock mounts may be ordered from the factory and are easily field-installed. Standard high quality slide in/out locking swivel 4 inch casters rated at 1,200 lbs. Airtight/watertight automatic relief valves. Stainless steel key-lockable latches. Easy grip molded handles. Custom colors available in minimum quantities.
